Students are given numbers between 0-9,999, and asked to find the smallest number you would need to multiply each by so that the resulting product is a square (or cube) number. Each worksheet has 8 questions where you create a square, and an additional 4 questions where you create a cube.

After finding these multipliers using prime factors, students look for their answers in a Number Search grid. Students love Word Search and Number Search puzzles, and this follow-up activity tells students whether or not their answers are correct. If you can find your answer then you know you are right.
