Creating Squares and Cubes with Prime Factorization is fun with Power Puzzle worksheets! Bundled set of 3. Find the surprise answers inside!

Students are given numbers between 0-9,999, and asked to find the smallest number you would need to multiply each by so that the resulting product is a square (or cube) number. Each worksheet has 8 questions where you create a square, and an additional 4 questions where you create a cube.

After finding these multipliers using prime factors, students look for their answers in a Number Search grid. Students love Word Search and Number Search puzzles, and this follow-up activity tells students whether or not their answers are correct. If you can find your answer then you know you are right. (Positive reinforcement!) And if your answer is not in the grid then it is probably incorrect. This acts as a SELF-CHECK, and you will immediately know if you are right or not. No need to wait for a teacher or parent to grade your work!

This is more than just finding words in a list - you have some thinking to do!

3 worksheets in this set. Answer keys are provided.
