Telling Time (Basic)
Learning to tell time takes lots of practice. Power Search puzzles make it fun!
After doing a bit of thinking to figure out what digital time an analog clock face shows, students get the reward of searching for their answer in the number search grid.
In addition to being fun, this tells students whether or not their answers are correct. If you can find your answer then you know you are right. Positive reinforcement! And if your answer is not in the grid then it is probably incorrect. This acts as a SELF-CHECK, and you immediately know if you are right or not. No need to wait for a teacher or parent to grade your work!
This is more than just finding words in a list - you have some thinking to do!
BASIC LEVEL (clock faces have ticks). Entries include every hour (1-12) and every 5-minute interval (:00 - :55).
3 worksheets in this set.
Answer keys are provided, but students should be able to check and correct their own puzzle!
Power Search is word search with a twist! We give the clues - You find the answers!
